We are an informal research group based at the School of Architecture in Universitat Politècncia de València. We are a group of students, teacher and friends…No matter the order…We produce teaching, publishing and research related to feminsim and gender mainstreaming. Our main topics are Women in Architecture and Daily life and Care in Architecture and Urbanism.
We expect this blog will be a tool to spread our thinking… We expect being able to share, connect and collaborate. Main language is English but any other is very welcome.
We have chosen CARYATIDES name due to the ‘imagined’ role women have developed in Architecture… and we love Kate Macintosh text!! We will explain it soon…
