The study of the Frauen Werk Stadt project has a double focus of interest. On the one hand, it is very important in order to recognize the work of women in the professional field. The project was made exclusively by women and for women. In other words, it was projected by female architects and urbanists. Professions where, through history, the percentage of women recognized and valued in comparison with their male colleagues has been scarce. [1] We will study how this project has considered many aspects of vital importance for the comfort of its users. Aspects that had not been questioned before, and which are not even questioned now. Here comes to light the second point of interest, the invisibility of women in both collective and private space.[2] An issue rarely considered in contemporary architecture, the architecture that is taught at school, the architecture that wins competitions, that appears in books and magazines. In short, the architecture we take as a reference. Then, with the analysis of the Frauen Werk Stadt, it is sought to study what were those alternatives in architecture focused on improving the quality of life for women. In this particular case, women of a specific class and social status, but whose premises can be applied to other projects. Fundamental principle that seeks the application of a gender perspective in architecture and urbanism
