The work focuses on making visible the life and work of the architect Lotte Beese, the first woman to study the Department of Architecture at the Bauhaus, becoming director of the Department of Urbanism of Rotterdam, so forgotten Throughout history, like many other women from the beginning of the 20th century, by dedicating themselves to the profession of architecture, in which the position of man pre- dominates, to whom it has been attributed, on many occasions, the jobs and achievements of the women who work with them. Today, it is necessary to increase the number of female references, not only in our profession, but in all areas to promote equality and testify that no knowledge is associated with one gender and not another, but that each person is free to set their goals regardless of what they have been inculcated by being born a man or a woman.
